A single origin coffee is one that comes from a single original producer, that is, from a region, farm or field in a given country. Sometimes it even defines a coffee from the specific cultivation area of a hacienda, distinguishing between soils and altitudes, if applicable. That is why each origin coffee is unique, and should be treated as such.
The origin allows us to know exactly where each grain comes from, what variety it is, how it has been cultivated and how it has been processed. All this includes in the final result that the client receives in his cup.
